The Governors of Padiham Green Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint 2 highly motivated and enthusiastic Welfare Assistants to work as part of our lunchtime team. The successful candidate will work within a team to supervise our children both inside and outside, promoting good table manners, ensuring the safety of the children, fostering positive play and encouraging good behaviour.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Can work as part of a team and reflect on own practice. 
• Can develop professional relationships with children, staff and parents.  
• Can liaise with teachers and staff to support pupils.
• Is energetic, positive and has a good sense of humour. 
• Is committed to our positive, inclusive and creative ethos. 
• Cares passionately for all our children, no matter what their barriers are or challenges they bring into school.  
• Have knowledge of or be willing to learn about safeguarding, behaviour, pastoral support and relevant policies and procedures

Padiham Green Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety of our children and the successful candidate will require a clear Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and required to take part in a range of other recruitment checks.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis. £12.00 per hour 5 hours per week term time only.
