Art Curriculum at Padiham Green
At Padiham Green we believe by delivering high quality, engaging and challenging art lessons, our children will gain the knowledge and skills they need to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design and this will allow them to progress successfully through the curriculum.
Creativity is a key factor in preparing our children to face the future with imagination and a desire to explore their own ideas. By ensuring we provide a range of experiences for all children as they progress through school, we aim to make art enjoyable and exciting at Padiham Green, helping to develop positive attitudes in school and life beyond school.
By studying the work of great artists, architects and designers from the past and present, our children will know how art and design reflects our history and they will have respect for cultures that are different from their own. Our inspiring curriculum also aims to provide the foundations for career pathways emerging from art by encouraging the aspiring artists, designers, architects and craft makers of the future.
